Do you ever stop to take note of something you are grateful for? In the busyness of our days, we can get swept up in jumping from one thing to the other, leaving no time to actually reflect on the positive moments and things we are thankful for.Â
Practising gratitude really does have a plethora of benefits that not only help yourself, but those around you too. It can allow you to feel more positive emotions, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness to others and generally feel more alive. Sounds pretty great, right?!Â
If practising gratitude seems a little foreign to you, I have broken down some simple ways to incorporate it into your day-to-day. But I also want to remind you that there’s no right or wrong way to practice gratitude - whatever feels best and natural to you is perfect.Â
Big or Small - Gratitude doesn’t have to be saved for big moments like work promotions or holidays, it can be practiced in the small moments too. You could be thankful for a delicio...
Winter is officially here this week, and while I will admit I’m a little bit excited to get my warm clothes out, I am not excited at the thought of getting a cold with the change of weather. As temps drop we are more susceptible to becoming run down, so it is an important time to focus on our health and look after our bodies. Keep reading for 5 ways to naturally boost your immunity and stay healthy this Winter!

The Imperfects
In this podcast, Hugh, Josh and Ryan chat to a variety of interesting people who bravely share their struggles and imperfections, and we all learn. This podcast highlights that everyone, no matter how successful, has something they are battling with, and teaches some valuable take-aways we can apply to our own imperfect lives.

Anything Goes - Emma Chamberlain
Anything Goes, by everyone’s favourite youtuber Emma Chamberlain, is a podcast that’s sometimes about philosophy, sometimes a random story from 10 years ago, sometimes advice, and sometimes nothing at all. You never know what you are going to get, but that’s what keeps it interesting.
Life Uncut
Talking all things love, life, lust, and a bunch of other stuff. Nothing is off limits in this podcast...
It’s important because when I feel good, everything works better. I’m a better mum, a better partner & a better leader at work! When I’m looking after myself and prioritising my health, everything else falls into place and I genuinely feel good from the inside out.
Can you talk me through what a typical day in the life looks like for you?
Sure! I wake up at 5.30am, do a 5.50am group class & get ready for work by 7am. Ivy wakes up and I change her nappy and get her read...
Following my recent chat with Jess, Heidi and Mei, I'm bringing you the second (and equally wonderful) half of our byron team - Audrey and Jasmine! I hope you enjoy getting to know our studio angels a little better.
What is your favourite thing about being a HUSTL trainer?
Audrey: ALL THE THINGS ARE MY FAVOURITE! I'm obsessed with our clientele and have deeply enjoyed cultivating relationships with all our members. Seeing people show up for themselves day after day, finding and harnessing their inner strength with it manifesting outwardly through their consistent practice has been so incredibly powerful. I started off as a member and now have the privilege to be a trainer, so I really enjoy that it's all come full circle for me and feel that provides me a unique opportunity in the way I connect with our members. It's seriously an all time girl gang of trainers with relentless support, positivity and lolz! Lex is forever encouraging us to be our brightest, shiniest, most unique, strang...
Picture this, your alarm goes off early in the morning, you feel the cold Winter air on your face, it’s still dark outside, you’re cozy and warm in bed, and so instead of getting up to HUSTL, you roll over and press snooze.
We’re all guilty of losing motivation and skipping out on a workout when the cold weather hits. But when one missed workout turns into a 4, and a week turns into three, we can start to feel a bit blah!
So for all my southern hemisphere girls going into Winter, here are my top tips to stay motivated in the cooler months.
I sat down with Jess, Heidi and Mei, three of our talented byron studio trainers, to chat about all things HUSTL, life as a trainer, living in Byron and current faves. A fun conversation with three amazing women!
What is your favourite thing about being a HUSTL trainer?
Jess: Alexz has created a culture of fun at HUSTL. So as a trainer not only do I get to connect with beautiful humans, but I get to spend 45 mins of FORM. Bossing them around and cranking all my fave loud music until their little buns are burning, their dopamine is pumping and they have a sense of their own capability and how badass they are. It’s the best!Â
Heidi:Â The studio environment, community & vibe.
Mei: It’s a safe, supportive and uplifting space where I get to be my 100% most authentic self!Â
What does a typical morning look like for you, before a day of work?
Jess: Wish I could say I did the most but I wake up at 4:45AM throw on some fitness wear, slap on makeup in the dark, sip some warm water with ...
Movement = medicine. Moving our bodies daily brings so many more benefits than just hitting a fitness goal. Personally speaking, I move daily for the endorphins, for my mental health, and because it honestly just makes me feel good.
If you’re not feeling up to a HUSTL class, don’t stress. Your movement could be a morning walk, putting your favourite playlist on and dancing in your lounge room, or jumping in the ocean for a swim. Doing what feels good for you and your body is most important, so try not to put too much pressure on yourself!

I’m not quite sure how we are already in the middle of April, but nevertheless, 2022 is without a doubt in full swing! As we are three months down, with nine to go, this is such a great time to check in with yourself to review the goals you set at the start of the year, and reset focus for the months to come.Â
Whilst goal setting isn’t for everyone, it really does help to give yourself direction for the days or weeks ahead, in whatever areas of your life are most important. And it's not too late to start! If you haven’t yet set goals for 2022, now is the time, don’t let another three months pass. Your focus may be something simple, a starting point to put a new habit in place, or something bigger to work towards a major goal.Â
If you’re not too sure where to start, or need a little guidance on how to reflect, I have listed my go-to questions below. I encourage you to to sit down in a relaxing and quiet space, put pen to paper, and ask yourself these questions:
As we pass the official halfway point of the burn & blast challenge, I wanted to check in with my angels to remind you just how strong you are.Â
It doesn’t matter how many challenges we host, I am always blown away by your ability to step up, use the challenge period to work towards your goals and get outside of your comfort zone. You truly are amazing!Â
Something I love so much about our hustl. community is the fact we get to share every class with thousands of people around the world. It is so special to see our community grow, and it honestly is nothing short of incredible. But when we are sharing something like a challenge together, it also means we can become guilty of comparing ourselves to others.Â
Which is why I want to share my number one tip for getting the most out of this challenge (and all of our challenges for that matter): focus on you, for you. I know you’ve heard this before, but I want you to read it again.
