Tell us a little about yourself & your fitness journey.
I am a 37 year old nurse and Mum to 3 very busy boys. I have 6 year old identical twin boys and a 2 year old son.

My boys keep me very busy with work, drop off, pick up, sports and naps. It means that some days are such a blur. However, I wouldn’t change it for anything, this is where my fitness journey began.

I had never been an exercise/gym lover, but after I had my twins life was very routine and very sleep de...

RETURNING TO ROUTINE AFTER TRAVEL.

Sep 16, 2026

Returning home from vacation can often leave many people feeling like they need to exercise an extreme amount or consume a super restrictive diet in order to compensate for a holiday that may have involved more indulgent foods than normal, and perhaps little to no exercise.

But here at HUSTL we truly believe in balance, and therefore returning home after travelling does not mean you have to punish yourself! So we are here to provide you with tips and tools to help you feel your best as you gradually ease back into routine.

  • Let go of the negative self talk.

First stop; let go of the feelings of guilt and regret about what you have eaten or the lack of exercise you have done. Instead hold on to the amazing memories of your travels and stay positive about getting back into a routine, in a way that is both sustainable and enjoyable.

  • Plan your workouts.

Make a plan of the classes you aim to complete each week; if you have downloaded the HUSTL.ONLINE app, we ha...

Tell us a little about yourself & your fitness journey.
I’m not your average HUSTL girl, I’m 45 and working on a wellness journey.

I have been training at least 5 days a week for over 6 years now. I began when I was weighing in at 110kg and didn’t want to continue the lifestyle I was living. At that time, I spent a year and a half in a group fitness gym and just before covid hit I was 79kg. Everything changed for me at that time, I would train every day, walk, however most of my training w...

THE SECRET IS CONSISTENCY.

Sep 16, 2026

Despite what the media likes to make us believe, there are no magic pills or miracle diets when it comes to good health. It just comes down to being consistent with your eating, exercising regularly and most importantly, recognising that we are all slightly different, and no one size fits all. To help explain why good food and exercise is so critical, and on the flip side, engaging in fad diets and restriction can be so detrimental, let's first talk body composition.

Body composition is the ratio of muscle (lean) mass to body fat ad it is an incredibly important determinant of overall health. It underpins how we manage our weight long-term. Yet within society, we tend to focus a lot on our bodies fat levels, and in doing so neglect the importance of muscle. For instance, if we talk about losing weight, it is typically that we want to lose fat. But the reality is when we lose weight, a concurrent loss in lean muscle generally occurs. Likewise, many women are also scared to ‘gain’ muscl...

DRY BODY BRUSHING:

What is it and why should I be doing it?

If you keep up to date with wellness trends, you may have seen the concept of dry body brushing sweeping the internet as of late, but for those that aren’t across this tool & technique, we are here to give you the low down on why it is so popular.

Furthermore, if you are one to wear fake tan, this technique can also be beneficial in removing old tan and preparing your skin for a new application.

  2. Circulation & lymphatic drainage - the technique of brushing your skin with long strokes, working from the feet upwards towards your heart, is said to improve circulation and promote blood flow around the body. Using a gentle amount of pressure, dry brushing can suppor...
