Exercise has always been important for me, or more like mandatory for my mental and physical well-being. But it has also been a struggle. I have a scoliosis in my upper back. My spine is a bit too straight between my shoulder blades and for that reason it can’t handle heavy weights. Building muscle strength has always been balancing between trying to build the strength and handling the pain on my back afterwards. This is the reason I have n...

Being of Indian heritage and 5’1, I was never going to look like Kendall Jenner (5’10, Caucasian) but that didn’t stop me consistently comparing myself to her. When I was 12 I switched to coffee for breakfast, when I was 14, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance (given a pathology but not the cure), when I was 16 was spending an hour every day on the cross trainer at the gym.
As I got older and went to uni, completing a physio degree and no...
Is there anything better than a morning walk with your headphones in, podcast on, coffee in hand?
Listening to a podcast has got to be one of my favourite pastimes, it allows me to completely switch off and separate myself from the craziness that life can entail.
Whether I feel like catching up on pop culture gossip, getting stuck into a true crime episode or delving into an educational topic, there are SO many incredible podcast options on offer these days, we really are spoilt for choice.
If you are a complete newbie to podcasts and lost on where to get started; or perhaps you have exhausted all of your current shows and feel like switching it up - I have shared below a few of my faves that I promise you, are all incredible listens for 2023.
Enjoy.

The New Year is just around the corner and as cliche as it is, I love to use this time of year as an opportunity to realign and reassess my goals. There is something about the start of the new year that sparks enthusiasm and momentum to truly work on yourself.
Manifesting and goal setting is something I feel SO passionately about, I honestly do believe it can have such a powerful impact on your life. So, to celebrate and prepare for the new year ahead, I am sharing a few of my favourite goal setting tips for you to take into 2023.
What Motivates You?
It is so important to pick goals that actually inspire you, and leave you feeling excited, motivated and passionate. When you have an emotional attachment to your goals & visions they become so much more meaningful and you are more likely to accomplish them. Focus less on the goals that society leads you into believing you SHOULD be achieving and instead put more energy into the goals you genuinely WANT to fulfil.
Create A Vision B...
The festive season is here and for many of us that can mean busy social calendars, bottomless bubbles, decadent desserts and plenty of delicious food. The step away from routine and the increased intake of festive foods can be daunting for many and food guilt can result in feelings of stress and anxiety.
So I wanted to take a moment to remind you that it is important to acknowledge that the holiday season is a time to enjoy with your friends & family, so if you overindulge in chocolate or don’t have the time or energy to exercise, that is more than ok. That is just life. Good health comes from consistency and what you do MOST of the time - not all of the time, so an extra serving of dessert on Christmas day or a few drinks on New Years Eve, should be enjoyed for what they are, without feelings of regret.
Our goal at HUSTL is to always encourage balance, and this time of year is absolutely no exception.
If you struggle with navigating your way through the festive season, I have shar...
